OFFICIAL RULES


  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.
     
  2. ELIGIBILITY: The "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures Monthly Screenshot Contest" (the "Contest"), brought to you by GameRigs, a division of the Neutralvibe Corporation and Funcom GmbH ("Sponsors"), will be governed by these "Official Rules". This Contest is applicable and open to legal residents of the United States and Canada, who are seventeen (17) years of age or older. Sponsors reserve the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, in any manner it deems appropriate. Employees and directors of the Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, licensees, advertising, promotion or production agencies and provider companies (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor.
     
  3. TO ENTER: Visit http://www.game-rigs.com/promos/aocscreenshot (the "Site") during the Contest Period and click on the "Enter Now" icon, banner or text link(s) to access the Contest registration page. Follow the online instructions by providing your name, mailing address, phone, email, date of birth and your screenshot and you will be automatically entered into the Contest (collectively, the "Entry" or "Entries"). No other methods of entry will be accepted. Limit one (1) entry per person/e-mail address. Participant may not enter with multiple e-mail addresses nor may participant use any other device to obtain more than the stated number of Contest entries. Any participant who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities or uses any device to obtain more than the stated number of entries will be disqualified. All entries must be received and recorded by Sponsor's computer during the Contest Period.
     
  4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winners will be determined and notified at the beginning of the month, by an email sent to the email address specified on the Contest Entry. Sponsor or its designee, the Contest Judge, will select the one (1) top entry in its sole and absolute discretion, from all eligible Entries based on creativity and humor. The Contest Judge's decisions are final and binding. Winners may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, a copyright assignment or confirmatory copyright assignment and, except where prohibited, Liability/Publicity Release, all in the form provided by Sponsor, within 14 days of attempted notification in order to claim prize. If a winner is 18 or older, as required, but a minor in his or her state, country or providence of residence, winner's parent or legal guardian will be required to sign all necessary documents. If the winner cannot be contacted at the email address provided in the Entry, is contacted and does not respond as directed within 14 days of attempted notification, refuses the prize or is ineligible to accept the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. All prizes claimed in accordance with the Official Rules will be awarded. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of prize. All other inquiries should be directed to info [at] conancontest [dot] com
     
  5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Participants agree (a) they agree to and will comply with these Official Rules and the Site's Terms (and Legal Notice) (the "Site Terms") and Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") (to view the Site's Site Terms and Privacy Policy, click on the links on the footer of the Site's web pages), (b) Sponsor, and its respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, are released and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activities, and (c) except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under Sponsor's authority the right to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, voice, image and biographical information and statements for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval. If a selected Winner cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to claim a prize; prize or notification is returned as undeliverable; prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected from remaining valid, eligible entries received.

    Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Contest, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest or downloading materials from or use of the website. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest, and select the winner from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use to this website. In case of dispute, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the promotion at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant, and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
